Dream Endless Dreams

Entry 3 💌

As a child I would always hear about how “the world is at your fingertips” without ever realizing just how large the world is.

It seemed smaller and more obtainable then, but of course to me the world were the things, people, and places currently around me. As I grew up I realized learning about something is not the same as experiencing it. This also meant that the dreams I envisioned for my life would only be a small part of the fulfillment, happiness, and peace that I could actually feel.

I was also under the impression that everyone had dreams that they see themselves as in their inner world. So dreaming become a hobby of sorts. Envisioning the many different possible life paths to take, what i’d look like, how i’d dress, and of course what my life’s work would be. Now that im older I found myself wanting to do all the things I not necessarily envisioned but thought was a cool way of enjoying life.

There were many times where dreaming made some things I used to enjoy or thought that I enjoyed become unfamiliar. But to dream is to understand your true desires and with that, many things will be left behind. Of course my dreams will change and differ as I go through life and gather new experiences but it’s why dreams are endless : )
